Abstract

The goal of the project is to theoretically study the microwave photoresponse of two-dimensional electron systems related to the excitation of the edge magnetoplasmons in them and the resulting detection and spectroscopy of microwave radiation.

A collaborative project with Institut für Nanotechnologie, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe (Prof. A. Mirlin, coordinator), MPI für Festkörperforschung, Stuttgart (Prof. K. von Klitzing), Institute of Solid State Physics of RAS, Chernogolovka, Russia (Prof. I. Kukushkin), and Institute of Radioengineering and Electronics of RAS, Moscow, Russia (Prof. V. Volkov).
