Fourier Transform Spectroscopy

In our fourier transform spectroscopy laboratory we are performing experiments in the far-infrared (FIR), mid-infrared (MIR), near-infrared (NIR), visible (VIS) and ultraviolet (UV) range using the two Bruker spectrometers IFS 113v and IFS 66v/S covering the range of 5 cm-1 up to 55000 cm-1 (»150 GHz-1.65 PHz). To enable investigations of small samples (e.g. single crystals) or local properties down to the scale of 50µm x 50µm the microscope Bruker IRscope II in the FIR and MIR range is used.
