Research activities

Our group covers a broad field of investigations in condensed matter physics. We are interested in the preparation and characterization of new exotic metals and semiconductors, in particular in the study of unconventional ground states like new magnetic phases, in unconventional superconductors, in new materials for molecular electronics, in the investigation of dielectric and ferro-electric thin films, in the physics of non-crystalline materials and the dynamics of relaxation, for example vortex glasses, spin glasses, and dipolar glasses.
