About the event

The WE-Heraeus Seminar will take place in the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef near Bonn (Germany) from May 22 - May 27, 2016.

The idea of this five-day workshop is to bring together experts on Lévy walks and researchers from different corners of physics, biophysics, behavioral science and robotics that are using Lévy walk formalism and related models in their studies. The goal is to tie together recent advances in such diverse fields as experimental cellular biophysics, quantum optics, theoretical many-body dynamics, animal foraging studies and newest developments in the theory of Lévy walks.

Deadline for registration is February 15, 2016.

We will accept applications until the maximum number of participants is reached.

Participants have to cover their travel cost (some partial support is available for invited speakers). Due to the generous support by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation, costs for accommodation and meals are covered.
